121352_special.jpgYou have a blog. You want to increase the number of trackbacks you get. You want a larger audience. You want people who are interested in teaching to visit. You want visitors who are technologically savvy (at least enough to read blogs). You want an audience of 150+ readers who fall into that category to check your blog out.

Post a comment. Advertise your blog right here. Convince other readers to visit your blog. If you do a good job of advertising, you might convince me to add your blog to my exclusive Links Page. I’m going to be weeding it down this week, but I could be persuaded to add some new blogs to the list. Go ahead, tell us why we should subscribe to your blog!

Wow, thanks for the opportunity, Joel. To be honest, I think that blogging requires more self-promotion than most educators are accustomed to. I appreciate all of the help I can get.

My blog is an outlet for: my frustrations with education, my joys of education, and my gifts to improve education. I try to vent a little, instruct a little, and make some folks laugh a little.

Thanks for taking some time to check Scripted Spontaneity out.

Hey Joel,
What a great idea. I checked out your list and found a few blogs I am going to visit. I found out about blogging after I retired, but I am still very active in education, especially since I have two grandsons and now two new teenage step granddaughters. There are a lot of teachers in my family, so we talk school all of the time. I do love technology. My family now buys me techy gadgets for all special educations. Have a great day out there in the band world!

I love reading this blog, and I’ve become addicted to similar blogs. I saw your post about advertising other people’s blogs, and I decided right then and there that I was going to create my own. And that’s what I did.

I’m a second year teacher, and I hope that my blog will reveal the ups and downs that I experience on a daily basis.

Wow! Rachel, you have no idea how thrilled I am! I will be excited to see what happens with your new blog. Any time you want to submit a guest post to me, you are more than welcome. That goes for anyone else. Or if you want me to write something for your blog, that offer will be welcome as well. Enjoy!

My blog should be included on your list because if it is not, I will shoot Billy Joel with a rubber band. He won’t like that at all, and neither will you.

Thanks Joel! I would like people to subscribe to my blog because I hope I offer support, ideas, and strategies to other educators and I wish there were blogs when I first started teaching to help me cope with my new career. I also hope to open a line of communication for an exchange of ideas so that all of us can benefit from the experience of others. I want to share my experiences from teaching that were successful to help others who may be feeling overwhelmed or frustrated because I think retention of good teachers is a major problem. I wanted to help do my part because I love teaching so much and want others to feel the same way.

Well, I haven’t been writing in my teacher-y blog that long, but I would appreciate a few readers. I write about my big ideas for education and a bit about the ups-and-downs of daily life. I’m in my third year, and I didn’t start any sooner just because this is the first year I’ve had any time to sleep, let alone blog.
