I know it's one of those things that sounds good on paper and to the untrained educator...but in reality it's really not good. Has it not occurred to them that those students are just slackers who never want, or even try, to do their homework? While the government is waiting for everyone else to catch up, everyone else falls behind. Isn’t that ironic? The students who need to be pushed, and actually want to excel in their school work, are, in fact, “dumbing down” because of the curriculum.
