Unfortunately, AT&T/Cingular didn't support the frequency of its antennae very much after that and so it basically became obsolete. But the concept was WAY ahead of its time. The sheer volume of stuff I can track and read without addition effort has increased my productivity by a factor I'd have trouble quantifying. I'm interested to see where RSS is headed now that I'm certain it's not going away. It makes it so easy to sift through information. There came a point where I was visiting so many blogs, I felt like my whole day was consumed by it. Now I go to my google reader and skim through what I need and want to know. It's a great time saving tool. I use google reader too. It makes it so easy to sift through information.
