Christmas Is Coming: Another Free Gift Offer & Upcoming Plans
View blog reactions
So Christmas is just around the corner. One month away, to be exact. For the last two months I have been posting articles nearly every day. Common wisdom says that you will build your blog most by doing just that. The blog has indeed grown. But I also have noticed that I spend more time looking at the blog and watching stats and everything than I really want to.
So beginning in December, I am backing off on the posting schedule. I anticipate writing one or two articles a week. I have been working on getting some guest posters involved, which could bump the weekly posting schedule up to two or three per week.
What this means for you
Because I will be spending more time on each article, the articles I do write should be more thorough and better quality. I won’t clutter up your reader as often, but when I do, I plan to make it worthwhile. If you run a blog, this also means I will gladly write guest posts for you. I love telling stories, but the nature of this blog really doesn’t lend itself to me doing that, and it’s not really the purpose or mission of So You Want To Teach? So if you would like for me to write for you, I am more than happy to do so. Link to this post and share all of these free gifts with your friends! The ones from yesterday and the one from today. Free blog header, Free guest post opportunities for you. Free guest posting offer from me. What a great combo deal!

The name pretty much says it all.
But that’s not all
I have been lined up to host the Carnival of Education on Wednesday December 5th. I know that I will come at it from a very distinctly different angle than most of the hosts I have seen, so I am excited about this opportunity. If you don’t normally submit to the Carnival, you can submit a link this week by clicking here and filling out the form, or go ahead and begin sending submissions for my first ever hosting experience by emailing me.
I want to hear from you
I am interested in what others think about some of the plans I have coming up. I have noticed that a lot of the comments that come in are directed to me. You may have noticed that I added the “Subscribe To Comments” box a while back and so you can have discussions with one another through the comments!
Challenge
My challenge to you is to go to click on the most interesting title of either the “Latest Favorites” or the randomly selected “Old School” articles on the right side of the page. If there are comments that you can respond to, respond to one. If not, then leave a comment. Subscribe to receive further comments, and see what happens.
