I've actually been thinking about that lately. Last year, when I was over cheer, I took several "sick" days b/c it was just necessary. I feel really guilty taking days off. It is definitely important to remember that you must put yourself first especially when teaching. And thank you for reminding me that I must find things to do outside of teaching that are simply fun and take your mind off school. I am REALLY surprised that you would say take a day and call a sub.
