This is one of the most powerful presentations I’ve seen that pertains to education. If you are interested in being a better teacher, you cannot miss this. It’s an awesome presentation on integrating technology into virtually everything that we do in education.Not only is it beautiful from a presentation standpoint (clean, uncluttered, visually pleasing), but it is also beautiful from the standpoint of what it says and how it can completely change your paradigm. Be sure to watch the next video entitled Did You Know? as well. The two of them together can be revolutionary for education.

A Tale of Two Administrators

If there’s one thing teachers seem to like complaining about, it’s administrators. I just picked this story up and thought it was powerfully relevant.

It was the best of schools, it was the worst of schools, but it was summer school and Mr. Sandoval was the only ESL teacher. The summer principal, Mr. Prince, stopped him in the hall, introduced himself, and said, “Listen, it’s very important that you give homework every day, and to make sure the kids know about it, I want you to post it at the beginning of each class, and leave it there for the entire period.”
