I have too been reflecting and wrote about how I am paring down my life both at school and at home and have been trying to be very intentional of what gets put back in. I am definitely going to that idea of "planned neglect" to help me remember to prioritize how I spend my precious time. I was meditating on that very thought this morning, realizing that modern society and technology makes it so easy to fill up with more and more time fillers. In order to know what to "neglect" we need quiet time to listen to ourselves and know our values, goals, vision, and purpose. Thanks again for your "amazingly poignant" post! Love that post, Joel.
