I've always heard employers talking about how they need to be impressed in the first few seconds of someone's resume, and I never found out specific ways to ensure that I was standing out. And as a soon to be teacher I love that you have layed out examples of how to accomplish this. I think the best way is to change the font, and I've never thought of that before-so thanks for all your research in finding this out! This is such a great thread!!
