This totally has nothing to do with teaching, but it’s an interesting question. If you had one super power, what would it be? How would you use it?
If you’re wondering where this question comes from, I was listening to the latest podcast of This American Life about Superpowers and it struck me as something interesting. I thought I’d see what my readers thought. Plus it’s a nice change of pace from the beginning of school and inservices and all of that stuff.
Go check out more about the podcast here.
So again I ask; if you had one super power, what would it be? How would you use it? Discuss in the comments…

Man, I have wanted superpowers for so long… :). But it’s hard to decide what the best power would be! Invisibility, flight, super speed?
I think I would choose shape shifting. Then I could be anybody! Muahahahaha!
I would choose the power to fly. I love to travel…what better way. The castles of Ireland, Scotland, Germany…they would be so much easier to see and far cheaper too…if only I could fly.
My power would be to eat like I want and still look good in my supersuit!
Telepathy! I would use it to be incredibly clever. Hahaha!
I think most people would use invisibility for devious means. I like Ava's "eat whatever you want and still look good in your supersuit" one! I want that one…
I think I would like to use the Shadow Clone move from Naruto. I could do a bunch of different things at once. My superhero name: THE MULTITASKER. Beware inbox of jobs…here comes the THE MULTITASKER.

Thanks for such wonderful thought provoking posts! I would want to fly like Superman. Here is my post about it: http://successfulteaching.blogspot.com/2010/08/my-special-super-power.html
