Science Education The Way It Should Be [VIDEO]

784024_test_tubeCheck this stuff out! Are there any of you out there who actually do cool stuff like this?

If so, let me know.

If not, then find a way to do one experiment/demonstration like this each month for the rest of your teaching career. It will change lives.

Joel Wagner (@sywtt) began teaching band in 2002. Though he had a lot of information, his classes were out of control. He found himself tired, frustrated, disrespected by students, lonely, and on the brink of quitting. He had had enough. He resigned from his school district right before spring break of his second year and made it his personal mission to learn to be a great teacher. So You Want To Teach? is the ongoing story of that quest for educational excellence.

  1. What a great experiment! I think anytime you can show students or have them involved, you have them hooked! I like to do a lot of cooking in my classroom because they get to eat the results!
