How can we expect to help them accept who they are and who everyone else is, if we don’t accept who we are? I am not stupid, but I am a MAN (middle aged nerd). When someone says, “…just a teacher…”, I don’t care if it’s a student, parent or administrator, we should be offended. Make teaching a noble profession…don’t dance unless it’s to YOUR music.
