Speedlinking 9/5/08 Blogging & Technology by Joel Wagner - September 5, 2008July 1, 20104 I have done a poor job lately of pointing out some of the great blogs out there that have included So You Want To Teach? in their posting. Thank you so much for considering SYWTT to be a great resource! If you have linked to me and asked me to do something, I’ll get to it. It is on my back-logged list of things to do. I expect a series of responses to some recent emails coming soon, and I would also expect me to be returning some of the link favors soon. As you may have noticed that So You Want To Teach? has slowed down quite a bit lately. This is to give me and you a break in your reading. I still get quite a few visitors from search engines, and traffic continues to flow as a result of this. If you are at a loss for things to read, I suggest the following: Blog Challenge 9/4/08 – I’ll get around to writing the article she has suggested soon enough… Carnivals! 9/3/08 Kiddie Carnival of Education 9/3/08 3rd Edition of the Music Education Blog Carnival 9/1/08 Empowering Youth – Blog Book Tour 8/29/08 Thank you so-o-o-o-o very much 8/27/08 An award and a guestbook 8/23/08 Tips for New Teachers 8/17/08 Baptism by Fire: 100 Essential Tips and Resources for Student Teachers 8/7/08 – This is truly amazing stuff. Though he had a lot of information, his classes were out of control. He found himself tired, frustrated, disrespected by students, lonely, and on the brink of quitting. He had had enough. He resigned from his school district right before spring break of his second year and made it his personal mission to learn to be a great teacher. So You Want To Teach? is the ongoing story of that quest for educational excellence.
Thank you for sharing these wonderful education blogs with us. As school starts, many parents and teachers look for educational games that are both entertaining and instructive. k5stars.com offers online learning games for math, reading, spelling and so much more. Our parents and teachers have been pleased with our games — and their children have great fun learning!
Hi Joel. Sorry to contact you via a comment, but clicking on “Joel” leads to a plain blue screen–don’t see any other way to reach you. Just to confirm–I am hosting the Music Education Carnival on October 1, right? The standard Carnival submission form has my name, and I have already received about 8 submissions. But–the current host has another person–Travis Weller–listed as the host of the October ME carnival. Can you clarify? Thanks. Really hoping that October is my month, as agreed. Nancy
